Agenda:
- Introduction and welcome (August 26, 10:00 a.m.)
- Welcoming the participants. Participants‘ presentations.
- Sharing experiences regarding the education of people with disabilities in the classroom. The experts of the partners presented their materials (PPT, films, PDF on the subject of the project.
- Development of the educational model (August 26-30)
- The daily workshops focused on creating an educational model to improve the mental, physical and social aspects of adults with disabilities through hobby gardens.
- The group of participants worked on addressing the issue of adults with disabilities, creating appropriate learning environments.
- Site visits and hands-on learning:
- Two visits were made to local organizations such as the „Jitřenka“ and „Motyl“ Family Center to observe the existing therapy and education programs, both the classical approach but especially therapy through hobby gardens.
- There were activities to explore the hobby gardens created by these two organizations „Jitřenka“ and „Motýl“ to discuss and understand their use in therapeutic environments.
- Closing and certification (August 30, 10:00 a.m.)
- Final discussions on the developed educational model took place.
- Certificates were distributed to all participants recognizing their involvement and training in this mobility.
- An evaluation questionnaire was completed.
Results:
- A draft comprehensive educational model was developed for the training of adults with disabilities, focusing on the use of hobby gardens in therapy and learning. Annex 1. The educational model created during the mobility period will be discussed by each partner organization, then the final form will be decided by 10. 09. 2027.
- Increased collaboration between participating organizations through shared practices and experiences.
- Agreed on the importance of integrating nature and the outdoor environment into the education of adults with disabilities.
Dissemination activities:
- Plan and execute the dissemination of project results through various channels, including:
- Website updates by the Czech Republic team.
- Posts and articles on the EPALE and Facebook platform by the European Integration Area Association.
- YouTube videos of the Turkish team.
- Dissemination Instagram team from Poland.
